The Rubettes featuring Alan Williams. For 20 years since their reformation in the early 80's the Rubettes line up had remained virtually unchanged until a parting of the ways occurred at the end of the last millennium. Since then their have been two 'Rubettes' bands. The Rubettes featuring Alan Williams is the more 'Original' of them as it includes in it's line up three of the original members of the Rubettes that took Sugar Baby Love to No.1 the World over and then went on to have many more hit's. Most familiar in that line up was Alan Williams lead vocalist and guitarist hence the name and reason for The Rubettes featuring Alan Williams. Named so that no confusion should arise now or in the future. Also featured are original Rubettes John Richardson on Drums and Mick Clarke on Bass Guitar along with newcomer Mark Haley on keyboards and Guitar.
